DAY 25 — (-kid)^(1/2)

I want a kid. They are so great.

I don’t know why, but I really do.

I know what half of you are thinking, well I don’t , but let’s just assume I do.

“Well, Sharat, kids look adorable from a distance, but raising them up is a whole different matter. They wail at night, vomit when they are sick, pee and poop, a rather disgusting affair! It’s a thankless job, it is.”

That was kind of the gist of the rant my mother gave when I told her I would love to adopt a kid and be a single dad.

Nice mom, she is.

Wouldn’t it be nice if everyone adopted one kid, though?

Seems like just an ideal thing to say, but in reality, maybe impractical.

I think I kinda get why for some people it might be preferrable to have your own kid and go for adoption as a last resort. Not a bad choice.

Meh, what do I know?
I would probably be a mental dad, lol.

I wonder what kind of parent I would be?

Nuts.

What name would I give him/her?

If it’s a boy, XYZ Jacob Jacob Jacob.

XYZ is not a filler. I’m gonna actually try to name him that. To spite all the English formal letters I wrote for my exams.

If it’s a girl, then Tasha R(eynolds) Jacob. Seems like a beautiful anagram of Sharat Jacob.

Wow, I am narcissistic.

You love that.

*wink*

And that concludes it for today.

Oh wait, I had to bury a dead rat today.

Yeah, done.

See you guys tomorrow as well.
