NIGHT 7 — Sesquipedalien Loquaciousness, Dyson and the Rain

Aah, the smell of the rain.

The fragrance is simply resplendent. One supposes that the weather will be unembellished in the futurity of the Gregorian calendar. One also would adore the rumination that the despicable virus lies obscure and isolated away from us.

Now before you go searching for the dictionary or are about to close this diary entry or hurl your phone against the wall, let me simply explain myself.

Just kidding, there isn’t an explanation. Go ahead and kill me.

Just kidding, there is. Please don’t kill me.

I am trying to be a sesquipedalien, for fun. Or engage in sesquipedalien loquaciousness.

“The use of unnecessarily long words.”

It’s a fun activity and a guarantee to get slapped by every person you try it on. Although the next time, you wanna shut up a bored person, you know what to do.

I have been attempting to create a blog.

It’s equal parts frustrating and amazing. But I am working on it. Soon enough, these entries will be present on a completely new revamped site.

Deciding the colours are extremely annoying, though.

However, in the end, I have decided upon an annoying slate of colours designed to break your eyes and prevent you from staying on my website for longer than five seconds.

Although, out of mercy, I shall also put out a disclaimer.

It rained in the afternoon today.

Whenever I have landed in an airport in Kerala, the first thing I do is take a deep breath and completely take in the smell of the state. It’s deeply unique and evokes so many different images instantly. Visuals of trees, water, spicy food, chilly weather everything mixed into one simple scent.

Lol, they should make a perfume in my opinion.

I took a break from the blog and spent some time watching a YouTube video about a Dyson Sphere.

It was really fascinating, to be honest.

It’s about this mega-structure, that if built, could harness the energy of the sun, and how if we could do that, we could probably make a huge leap into interstellar exploration and travel through space.

It also sadly points out how this structure may never be built by us, since everyone likes to focus on short-term solutions and how politics gets in the way.

Worth a watch, though.

I would love to have more material for you, sadly focusing on the blog hasn’t really given me a chance to look at anything else.

However at the same time, I am of the belief that people don’t just read for fun, it’s also to subconsciously gain something mentally. Hence the small fun facts like the Dyson Sphere and the occasional “Word for the day” thrown in.

Of course, there are also those of you who lovingly read it because you enjoy my style of writing.

Anyway, good night and love to all.
